The Sound of Fonts
An experiment to distinguish letters of three different fonts not just from their shape and form, but also their tone and noise by recording the sound of the printer printing each individual letter. A gradient was applied to test if the change of colour has any effect on the noise of the printer. Samples of the sound recordings are available at the bottom of the page.
